- Flexible packaging: Flexible pet food packaging includes, for example, larger pouches of dry dog food, dry cat food, and any other animal food. Pet food is, of course, also packed in this type of smaller packaging. Wet pet food can also be packed in pouches. It is important that wet pet food does not dry out, or goes moldy which is why leak detection is very useful. The same applies to animal medicines packed in flexible packaging, which must remain that the medicine stays usable.
- Rigid packaging: Wet pet food is also packed in rigid packaging, such as trays, tubs or large cans. Of course, this rigid packaging must not dry out either, as well as rigid packed medicines, such as bottles. Our leak detection solutions can help you guarantee good quality products.

STATIONARY LEAK TESTER
Flexible pet food packaging is mostly tested in the Stationary Leak Tester. The flexible packaging is placed between two flexible membranes. After closing the lid, a deep vacuum is created in the test chamber. This creates a very small measuring area without damaging the packaging. With this unique measuring method, you can detect both micro leaks and large leaks without having to change any settings.

STATIONARY LEAK TESTER XXXL
For packaging up to 25kg, a special version of the SLT is developed. The Stationary Leak Tester XXXL is able to test a wide range of large packaging. It works the same as the other SLT. The packaging is placed between two flexible membranes. After closing the lid, a deep vacuum is created in the test chamber. This creates a very small measuring area without damaging the packaging. CAN LEAK TESTER
The Can Leak Tester is used to test rigid pet food packaging, such as large cans. A rubber membrane is created in the exact form of the pet food can. A bell jar containing the flexible rubber membrane drops down over the packaging. A vacuum is then created in the surrounding space. If the can has a leak, this is shown by a change in the pressure in the measuring bell jar.

The Bottle Leak Tester tests whether your pet medicine bottles or jars are properly closed without spoiling the valuable contents. Our Bottle Leak Tester embraces the top of the bottle and, with our FDA approved membrane, checks if there are any leaks in the top or seal.

CONTAINER CLOSURE INTEGRITY TESTER
The Container Closure Integrity Tester is the solution for pet medicines within bottles. The flexible membrane of this tester can take the form of different containers, such as vials, ampoules and bottles. Therefore there is no need to change the entire test chamber for different containers, resulting in much faster and more efficient testing.

IN-LINE PET FOOD PACKAGING TESTING
Of course, it is also possible to come up with an in-line solution for your packaging. The only difference with the stand-alone solutions, is that your packaging is tested within your production line. This in-line machine is able to detect leaks at random, fully automatically or 100%.
