WORKING AT OXIPACK
IS WORKING IN TECHNOLOGY

THE OXIPACK PROFILE

HAVE YOU COMPLETED YOUR TECHNICAL COURSE?

If you have finished a medium or higher vocational education course in for example mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering, pneumatics or packaging technology and have a number of years of experience under your belt, then working at Oxipack may just be the challenge you’re looking for! We produce standardised precision leak detection equipment, as well as develop state-of-the-art bespoke solutions and in-line setups for packaging machines.

ARE YOU CAPABLE OF HANDLING PROJECTS ON YOUR OWN?

An ability we are always looking for, because in a small, fast-growing company it is good to have proactive colleagues; colleagues who recognise what needs to be done and who can work independently on generating innovative practical solutions. New colleagues will have ample opportunity to work on all manner of projects. You’ll be given the space to grow and develop along with us.

DO YOU HAVE COMMAND OF VARIOUS LANGUAGES?

A quality you will probably need, as contact with clients worldwide is a daily occurrence. English is usually the main conduit, but if you have command of German, Spanish or French then that would certainly be a real asset.

DO YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL?

Great! Oxipack will probably regularly send you out on trips of up to a few days, to visit factory locations and install leak detection equipment around Europe or even further afield.

INTERNSHIP AT OXIPACK

Vocational education and business need each other – a responsibility that Oxipack takes seriously. As partner of ROC Utrecht, we strive to improve the link between vocational education and practical experience.

Oxipack is a recognised training company. This means we offer suitable work experience places and an excellent working and learning environment in collaboration with the Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven (SBB); the organisation that supervises and certifies training companies.

We are authorised to offer work-based learning programmes for medium vocational education in the fields of mechatronics, electrotechnical systems and engineering.

We also regularly have interns who obtain their practical work experience with us under the auspices of their middle or higher vocational institutions as part of their educational programme.

  • Medium vocational students for example carry out assembly activities under supervision.

  • Higher vocational students often contribute to partial phases in the development of new leak detection methods, or are encouraged to study how existing methods can be improved.

If you are inquisitive, independent, one of life’s go-getters and currently following a technical programme, then contact us to see if we have a work experience placement for you.
