AUTOMATED LEAK TESTING OXIPACK MACHINES
Automated leak testing is possible for different types of packaging, such as flexible packaging, rigid packaging and vacuum packaging. We are able to develop an in-line leak detection solution for many different types of packages, like cans, bottles or even cartridges, but we highlight two of our popular automated leak testing machines below.
The Rotary
The Rotary is developed to measure flexible MAP-packaging using the vacuum decay method. This solution is able to test up to 120 individual packages per minute. This automated leak testing machine is fully integrated into the production line. You will receive instant feedback about the package integrity of your products. When the packages are tested, the chamber will open and the packages will slide down either the reject belt or on the OK belt. Rejected packages will run into a bin to check the packages. The leak-tight packages will run back to the production conveyor.
Vacuum Leak Tester In-line
The Vacuum Leak Tester In-line is developed for automated sample testing of vacuum packed products, such as coffee and yeast. This solutions selects an amount of packages from the conveyor belt and tests each sample individually and automatically for leaks. This will gain full control over the production process and drastically reduce the number of leaks. This automated leak testing machine tests 3 packages in 2 minutes and is able to test single foil packaging. After an approved test, the packaging will run back to the production conveyor. When a pack is soft, it is immediately rejected without testing it; other leaking products are rejected after testing and run out the production line.
