Tester

Vacuum packaging is a popular packaging type to preserve freshness and quality of a variety of products in the food, pharmaceutical and electronic industries. However, vacuum packaging is only effective if the packaging is properly packaged and free from leaks. But how do you ensure and guarantee leak-free vacuum packaging? By using a vacuum leak tester, you can check the integrity of your vacuum packaging and identify any leaks present in it.

Vacuum packaging tester machines

If you are looking for a way to efficiently and cost-effectively test the quality of your vacuum packaging, Oxipack developed the solution. Our vacuum leak testers have been specially developed to help you measure the smallest possible space and detect any leaks, ensuring that your products are properly sealed and protected from harmful bacteria and other contaminants. We understand the challenges of vacuum packaging and have combined various methods to develop a reliable testing solution that can accommodate all types of vacuum packs.

Vacuum leak tester

The vacuum leak tester uses an extremely sensitive differential sensor to monitor the absorption capacity of a vacuum package. Our method involves using a measuring head equipped with a flexible membrane approved by the FDA, which we place over the package to quickly identify any micro leaks present. Changing the measuring head for a different packaging size is easy and fast. This approach can be implemented as an off-line, semi-inline, or 100% control process, giving you the flexibility you need to ensure the highest level of quality control for your products.

Vacuum-Sealed Leak Tester

Vacuum-Sealed Leak Tester

Vacuum sealed products are containing moisture and have little or no air inside. These packaging are tested in a different way, namely with a vacuum seal tester. This method is testing according to a combination between the vacuum decay method and the technique to determine a vacuum level inside the package. The expansion capacity of the package is exploited to detect any leaks. Using this technology helps you to effectively identify any leaks by measuring the changes in vacuum levels and the expansion of the package. With the help of interchangeable, specially designed inserts, various sizes of packaging can be tested in the vacuum seal tester.

Vacuum Pressure Tester

With the vacuum pressure tester, we can accurately measure the pressure inside a pack without causing any damage, allowing you to detect potential issues before they become a problem. By comparing multiple products or conducting multiple tests on the same product with a time gap in between, we can help you identify any possible leakage and take appropriate action to ensure the quality and safety of your products. There is not just one machine developed for the vacuum pressure method. It depends on the packaging which machine will be developed with this method. Please contact us for more information.

Vacuum Leak Tester (semi) In-line

Vacuum Leak Tester In-line

An example of an in-line vacuum leak tester is the Vacuum Leak Tester (semi) in-line (VLT-I). It takes vacuum leak testing to the next level by automatically selecting products from the production line to test them individually for microleaks. This ensures that only the approved products re-enter the production line, while the rejected items are segregated for further analysis. With this process, our customers have complete control over their production environment without the need to test every single product. Besides semi in-line leak testing, it is also possible to create a solution for 100% leak detection in your vacuum packaging line.
